Alpaca Visits - One Hour​

​

​​​Perfect for Residential Care Homes, Work place appearances or smaller Education Centres or Charities.

 

A visit from the alpacas will be tailored to your requirements and may vary depending on the location and type of setting. 

​

We will bring two alpacas that are experienced, calm, friendly and reliable.

​

We suggest that we spend some time in a main reception space such as a lounge or conservatory to begin with. We can also be outside in a garden or courtyard area. 

​

We provide treats for feeding the alpacas and everyone will have the chance to stroke the alpacas and enjoy their gentle personalities.

​

We will chat with everyone personally and share our alpaca knowledge. In the case of Care Homes, for those residents that are able to stand with the alpacas, hold the lead and have a photo we can help with this.

​

We can also do a tour of the setting and visit any rooms where residents are unable to get up and out. 

​​

Family members are more than welcome to come along and meet the alpacas too and it can make for a lovely bonding and re-connecting experience for all involved.

Longer Visits & Events

 

Perfect for University well-being days, Open Days. Work-place Activity Days, Summer Events and more. 

​

These visits can also be tailored to suit your venue but as a general idea:

We will set up a large pen and bring four alpacas, with two handlers present.

 

We will have treats available for alpaca feeding, and they can be petted and enjoyed. Spending time watching them and being in their presence has a wonderfully relaxing effect. 

​

Depending on the event & venue it may be possible for two alpacas to be taken on leads out of the pen for people to hold, walk a little in the immediate area, and have photos. 

 

We will tell you all about the alpacas, their stories, how we look after them and chat away to anybody who is interested!

For a visit from up to four alpacas in a pen set-up outside:

 

For two hours: £295

For three hours: £345

We can also offer a 60 minute visit (as above) from two alpacas to your venue or workplace, indoor or outdoor at the following price.

We include 15 miles of travel (both ways included). Additional travel is priced at £1 per mile, both ways, up to a maximum of 90 minutes away from EX13 7QR.
